Researcher Story:
Katie Druce, Patient and Public Engagement Lead at the Centre for Epidemiology Versus Arthritis
Katie has worked on two studies with uMotif – QUASAR (Quality of Life, Sleep and Rheumatoid Arthritis) and GIRAF (Gaining insight into rheumatic fatigue).
uMotif supported the QUASAR study by linking in with wearables, in this case a sleep monitor, and then completing sleep diaries through the uMotif app. uMotif also supported the GIRAF (Gaining insight into rheumatic fatigue) study, with specifically designed functionality to support patients to provide dry blood spot samples, entirely remotely.
In this video, Katie discusses the impact uMotif has had on patient engagement within both of these studies, enabling her to collect a significant amount of data and help to deliver a really successful study.
