Our story
uMotif was born when our co-founders met two patients with Parkinson’s Disease who wanted new digital tools to help them manage, track, and understand their disease, treatments, medication, and healthcare journey. Like many patients, they wanted a better way to engage with their health, communicate more effectively with clinicians, and feel more empowered.
After working with patients, healthcare professionals, and providers in other therapy areas, uMotif launched two large-scale research projects with over 18,000 people tracking and donating over 9 million Patient Reported Outcome, symptom, device, and other data points. This led uMotif to take its learnings from healthcare and pivot into patient-centered research, developing its eCOA/ePRO and engagement platform.
Our experience over the last 10 years has shown us that a patient-centered approach is vital to delivering effective trials, at pace and scale, with unrivaled patient engagement and volumes of quality data. Today, we are a global organization that continues to stay true to our patient-centered ethos – bringing together some of the best talent in the industry who are passionate about making a positive impact on clinical research and the life sciences industry.
