Cathy’s Story: Cathy wants to contribute to research and not keep data locked within her body

Cathy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in her late 30s and is determined to live life to the full. Cathy wants to contribute to finding a better life, or even a cure, for people with Parkinson’s and believes that if she keeps her data locked within her own body it’s not going to help anybody.

Enrolling on a Parkinson’s study enabled Cathy to make her contribution to research. In addition, Cathy found using the uMotif mobile app prompted her to think about herself every day and not only track symptoms. Using the app became part of Cathy’s everyday routine and encourages her take better care of herself.
