Steve is an accomplished technology executive with over 30 years of experience in software design, development, and engineering management. He has led engineering teams at major companies like Oracle, and IBM, bringing innovative cloud-native solutions and enterprise software to market. His expertise spans cloud technologies, microservices, and large-scale data analytics, and he has a proven track record of managing global teams to deliver complex projects on time.
Most recently, as the Chief Information Officer at Medzown, Steve was part of a small team developing an AWS-based SaaS platform to deliver precision medicine management at scale.
Prior to that, Steve served as Vice President of Development at Oracle, where he led a team to build a cloud-native clinical trial platform. Steve was very involved in modernizing cloud development practices across Oracle’s business units, advocating for microservices architecture and CI/CD methodologies. His leadership helped transform legacy health sciences products into a unified, cloud-based solution.
He holds a MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Outside of work, Steve enjoys playing bass guitar and travelling as much as possible with his wife and daughters.
