James Thatcher is a results-driven Sales Leader with 15+ years of experience building high-performing teams, deepening customer relationships, and driving growth across life sciences and eClinical technology organizations.
James joined uMotif from Evinova, where he served as Vice President of Business Development. He was instrumental in Evinova’s market launch, which involved an integrated platform of products driving AI transformation from clinical development through to trial-based data acquisition for Large Pharma, Biotech, and CROs.
Prior to Evinova, James served as Executive Director of Business Development at Medable where he led the CRO commercial team and cultivated long-standing client relationships. Earlier in his career, he held product management and market evaluation roles at orthopedic medical device company Arthrex where he developed his foundation in strategic planning and market development.
James is based in Cardiff, Wales, where he and his family enjoy exploring the Welsh coastline and the natural beauty of the surrounding region.
