100 For Parkinson’s enters its last two weeks of recruitment

100 For Parkinson’s is our study in partnership with leading Parkinson’s charities and backed by Nesta, Boston Scientific, the Cabinet Office, Cisco, East Kent Beautiful Information, iOutcomes, the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, the North West Coast Academic Health Science Network, Sudler and Hennessey and UCB Pharma.

The study enables people with Parkinson’s and their supporters to contribute to our understanding of the disease, how a digital tool might help and how people’s needs differ. Since launch in Februrary 2016, over 4000 people have tracked over 2 Million data points to help the cause and it’s almost time to close recruitment so that we can get onto the analysis stage of the project.

You can read about some of the early data emerging from the study on this post by the European Parkinson’s Disease Association.

Recruitment will close on the 1st December, but there’s still time to take part by visiting www.100forparkinsons.com to check eligibility, downloading the uMotif app and entering code 100FP.
